Karthik Nagarajan

National Director - Social Media & Insights, GroupM

Karthik Nagarajan leads the social media practice at GroupM. In this role, he helps brands build and curate communities on social platforms, while also leveraging the medium for insights. Prior to this, Karthik was leading The Nielsen Company’s online division in India, which he helped set up. 

He also led NM Incite, the global joint venture of The Nielsen Company and McKinsey, in India. Karthik started his career in internet cryptography and has a background in market research for RFID & semiconductor devices in India and the United States. When he is not working for his employer, he is an independent film maker for his production outfit ‘Filter Coffee Talkies’, which is into short and documentary films.
