  • It was a really great experience as mainly everything was started from the grass root level and built up. Really in depth study and learning experience it was and gave a lot of insights in how should I be running things in my start-up.   • My expectations from the Digital workshop were just to learn things happening currently in Digital Marketing from people coming from its core. And it did more than that. Case studies, crucial insights, exposure to tools that can measure your digital marketing plan, group exercises et al made the overall event go beyond its bounds. It’s hard to get such kind of details from a two-day program. I suggest anyone from the ad world to go for it and experience the enhancement in your know-how from some of the most respected people from the industry. Go with tonnes of questions and get them all answered, no matter how silly they are or how complicated they stand.

  • I found the workshop quite informative. All the Marketing people have high expectation from actions undertaken to promote the brands in In the virtual world. This workshop helped to appreciate that measurability, scalability and right targeting is possible provided one analyses the information available. Also, how the media should be used in addition to the mass Media like TV and Press, is delved on through appropriate examples.   • afaqs! Campus Digital Marketing Program was an enthralling experience. The agenda  was brilliant and it covered Digital Marketing in the most comprehensive manner possible. The expertise of such veteran afaqs! Campus faculty added to the experience. The clarity and the depth in which every subject was treated by the trainers is commendable.The group exercises , questions and answer sessions, everything was aimed at building a stronger and better understanding.  I especially enjoyed the sessions on Search and Display Marketing for the detailed coverage .

  • The Facebook Marketing workshop was interesting and engaging ,sort of an eye opener to some of the facts you would have probably ignored otherwise. Three key takeaways for me from the workshop:
    1. Facebook Marketing is not about what we want to tell the fans but about creating a platform for them to speak about themselves to you.
    2. Interaction and creating a platform to interact in the form of polls is very critical to increase engagement and affinity for a fan page
    3. There is nothing like advertising on Facebook –It is a platform to have a conversation with your consumer-so don’t complicate.

  • The Digital Marketing Program I attended in New Delhi  (April 20-21, 2012) was an enriching experience. Experiential knowledge shared by the industry stalwarts made it all the more interesting. I particularly like this initiative by afaqs! Campus because what it also does is, it brings together student and corporate community to learn and in addition, implement. Unequivocally, I would look forward to more such workshops and programs and I am sure this initiative is going to do world of good to the individuals and the industry as a whole.

  • Point of any workshop is to teach you what you did not know, I think both Preetham Venkky and Lakshmipathy Bhat have done that today (Basic Social Media Marketing Workshop, Bangalore). Their tips on social media, Facebook, Analytics, the way Facebook operates at the back-end was a revelatory exercise, that's something that I liked very much.

  • I think afaqs! Campus Basic Social Media Marketing Workshop was quite interesting, because it explained us a lot of things from basics to in-depth insights and how to plan social media marketing from henceforth. The case studies given by both Lakshmipathy Bhat and Preetham Venkky had lots of insights, they explained everything to us and told us how we can integrate social media with our current marketing plans. The kind of discussions we had with them clarified a lot of doubts we had in our mind. I'm the brand custodian for The Forum Velue Mall and after this workshop I know what is the next step forward. This year is going to be all about social media marketing and all my doubts are cleared now.

We were constantly challenging each other to come up with unconventional ideas and strategies during the assignment sessions.   • The program helped us know various other social media platforms. Through these workshops you get to meet professionals from other industries, you get a perspective which may have missed you completely. I liked the specific examples that the trainers shared, especially from South America which they said is quite similar to India in cultural characteristics.
